A compact and competitively priced fume extraction system for light-duty laser marking, coding and engraving applications.
The introduction of low-cost laser systems has led to the development of an entry-level fume extraction solution to help maintain safer operator working conditions and product quality.
The AD Access combines economic ownership with performance to match the small laser user. A three-stage filter condition indicator is included as a standard feature, together with three-stage filtration; DeepPleat pre-filter, HEPA and chemical section.
Ideal for small scale industrial environments.
The AD Nano is ideal for small-scale industrial environments and light to medium laser coding applications. The reverse flow air and DeepPleat DUO filter technology enhance filter performance and help to ensure long filter life.
Fume extraction system for light-duty laser marking, coding and engraving applications.
BOFA’s AD 350 fume extraction and filtration system helps to filter potentially harmful fumes and particulates created during the laser marking process. By maintaining a dust-free operating area, the system helps to protect valuable equipment, helps to maintain a higher quality mark, and helps to reduce the number of rejects and contaminants.
The compact AD 350 is ideal for use in schools, sign-making workshops and small-scale industrial environments.
Helps to prevent burning particulate from entering the fume extraction unit.
BOFA’s Spark Arrestor 2 unit helps to prevent potentially damaging, burning particulates generated during laser marking processes from entering the fume extraction unit.
Hot burning particulate is transported through the specially designed plates positioned within the airflow, slowing the burning particulate down until it finally drops into the removable drop-out chamber, helping to protect the fume extractor.
Inline filter helping to deliver a long life for applications that generate high amounts of dust and particulate.
The BOFA inline pre-filters have been designed specifically for applications that generate high amounts of dust or particulate.
The filter unit is positioned alongside the main BOFA fume filtration system to help increase the overall filter capacity and help extend the life of the main filters.
A range of application-dependent filter types and configurations are available on request.
Inline cyclone filter for heavy particulate, to extend filter life and extraction performance.
Thanks to Sir James Dyson and his vacuum cleaners, most people are aware of cyclone separators.
Cyclone separators are useful at capturing particles of 20micron and larger, i.e. visible to the naked eye.
Unfortunately, laser marking generates a wide range of particle sizes that are smaller than this so standard cyclone separators are not as efficient.
We commissioned the University of Southampton to develop a cyclone to operate more efficiently at these lower particle sizes.
The AD Cyclone separator has been designed specifically for use with the AD Oracle iQ extraction unit and is installed between the laser extraction point and the extractor. The airflow generated by the extraction unit powers the cyclone.
